PRE-TREATMENT ULTRA INSTRUCTIONS

Before your Ultra Laser treatment at Coastal Aesthetics, it’s important to follow specific pre-treatment instructions to ensure the best results and a safe experience. Please review the guidelines below to prepare for your session and reach out to us with any questions prior to your appointment.

  • Stop using any harsh exfoliants (glycolic acid), retinoids, or vitamin C serums in the treatment area for 5-7 days prior to treatment.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks before treatment to prevent pigmentation issues.
  • If given to you ahead of time, apply the numbing cream to a face free of makeup, lotions, or other products. Apply to the entire area being treated (full face, neck, chest, etc) at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. 
  • For best results, increase water consumption on the day of and the days prior to the treatment. Well-hydrated skin responds best to the laser.
